"Hello and welcome to the Creativity and Sense website. I'm Ọgọ Ogbata - author, speaker and creative consultant. I help professional career and business people to attain their full potential by discovering, developing and leveraging hidden talents, assets and opportunities. I love what I do and wake up every morning with joy and gratitude. But I wasn't always this privileged... 

I once had a career that 'left more to be desired' - to put it mildly! Monday mornings were marred by reluctance; weekends and holidays couldn't come round quickly enough; boredom was the order of the day... Most importantly, I was very mindful of how quickly time seemed to go by. One minute it was January and I was grappling with New Year resolutions and the like, the next another Christmas was in sight! My life was gradually sinking in the cesspool of procrastination, endless commuting, unrealistic deadlines, merciless targets and meaningless routine. 

My greatest fear was waking up to the fact that my life had gone by in a flash. So I decided to change my career path and live life more purposefully. It was the best advice I ever gave to myself. As I discovered my purpose and began to fulfil it, doors opened up to me. My health and outlook improved; I became happier. And as I applied certain powerful strategies, money started to flow from what I know...

Life is too short to spend barking up the wrong tree. Find your purpose and fulfil it. Reclaim your life and live it joyously. Create the career and life that allows you to make the most of your talents and become a star in your own right. If you can inspire the people around you to see things in the same light - even better! Here's wishing you a more purpose driven life!

BIOGRAPHY

Ọgọ Ogbata used to work for several enjoyable years as a marketing executive at a
top notch multinational company solving problems for higly acclaimed global brands. Then she got married and relocated. Her next job gifted her with many valuable skills but she soon found that her creativity was stiffled and eventually decided that it was time to do something very different.

These days, Ọgọ (pronounced 'or-gore?') helps individuals and businesses to discover, develop and maximise hidden talents, assets and opportunities. Be it through the vehicles of public speaking, business training, coaching, mentoring or consulting, her dynamic delivery, creative wisdom and practical insight empower people to make the most of their talents and impact their communities positively.
 
Author of the inspirational nonfiction book titled, ‘Creativity and Sense: Discover Purpose, Inspire Your Team and Turn Passion into Prosperity!’, Ọgọ believes that life is too short to be spent on soul destroying work and that value-oriented and talent-nurturing businesses are far more profitable and sustainable. She holds a degree in Computer Science and was handpicked to mentor Northamptonshire business owners in partnership with Business Link and the highly regarded University of Northampton Business School.

In her free time, Ogo likes to read, write (poetry, plays, novels and songs as well as  nonfiction), travel, listen to soulful gospel music and spend time with her best friend, Austin (a seasoned Solicitor who specialises in Employment Law).
